This Walk Behind Plate Compactor works great for paving, soil compaction, and compacting sand into place. It helps with increasing the density of soil and increasing its load bearing capacity. Soil compacting also decreases water seepage, prevents soil settlement, reduces swelling/contraction of the soil, and prevents frost damage. This plate compactor is designed for compaction in confined areas of granular soil in narrow trenches. These plates are ideal for curbs, gutters, around tanks, forms, columns, footings, guard railings, drainage ditches, gas and sewer works, building construction, compacting a narrow confined area, finishing asphalt, soil, sand and sloping surfaces.
